Financial Assistance

The qathet Regional District (qRD) can provide financial assistance to community organizations for special projects, events, capital or general operating expenses. The annual budget is completed by March 31st each year. It is strongly recommended that applications be submitted prior to the end of February of any calendar year.

Permissive Tax Exemptions

Societies and not-for-profit organizations provide many benefits to our community. In order to recognize these contributions, the qathet Regional District Board will consider exempting taxes for these organizations.

Permissive Tax Exemption application forms must be submitted by August 1st to be considered for a tax exemption in the following year.
